CAT

  • Name of Exam: Common Admission Test (CAT)
  • Purpose: Admission to postgraduate management programs such as MBA, PGDM, and other management courses offered by top B-Schools in India.
  • Frequency: Conducted once a year.
  • Mode of Exam: Computer-based test (CBT).
  • Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
  • Sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).
  • Syllabus: Covers topics related to the above-mentioned sections.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Bachelor’s degree with minimum qualifying marks (percentage varies for different institutes).
